This portable microprocessor based photo tachometer provides precise measurement from very low revolution (5 RPM) to very high speed (100,000 RPM). It directs light beam toward a rotating shaft and detects the light pulse reflected back from the reflective tape mark. The internal quartz crystal provides very accurate time base for the quick calculation of RPM. The internal memory automatically store the last value and the maximum/minimum for easy analyses. It is housed in light weight and high impart ABS case for high durability and reliability. It is very useful for auto mechanics, motor and fan manufacturers.
